Polly Braden is a renowned documentary photographer. She spent two years working on the book Great Interactions: Life with Learning Disabilities And Autism. Her work has appeared in a variety of national and international newspapers and magazines, and in 2010, she published the book, China Between. Work from that project was also featured in the book, Street Photography Now.

Rashmi Becker is based in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Cambridge where she is undertaking PhD research examining the role of direct support staff in enabling people with a learning disability to live a better life. The research is fully funded by National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Collaborations for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care East of England. Rashmi has over 20 years of professional experience working as a communications and policy expert in central government, the European Commission and Parliament, in healthcare and for national learning disability and autism charities. Rashmi is the project editor of the Great Interactions book having conceived the project, working closely with Polly to realise the book and exhibition.

Today, they are a leading charity in the learning disabilities sector, and continue to fulfil their mission by providing learning, support services, education, and care to over 100 people with learning disabilities, complex needs and autism.
